It is time to remove this incorrect drug allergy label from the patients record. Please do the following:
Instruct the patient to:
Tell their family MD and pharmacy they are not allergic and that a challenge to this medication was passed.
When providing a medical history for their child, they should never mention concerns about this allergy again (doing so causes it to be recorded in the chart again)
